Opportunity:
Nelsons is supported by a dedicated team of People and Culture professionals providing expert HR services and people related services across our East Midlands offices. As part of our continued plan for growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Assistant to join our team in Nottingham supporting our expanding legal teams and the wider business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail orientated HR and people professional to play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be at the heart of our people operations, working closely with our People & Culture Manager. Key responsibilities include ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new colleagues, maintaining and updating employee records, supporting and responding to colleague queries with care and professionalism, assisting with payroll preparation, ad hoc people projects and offboarding colleagues.
The successful candidate will have previous HR and People administrative experience, ideally within a Law firm or professional services. You will have a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent organisational skills, IT and communication skills. Along with ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
